Shipley Wedding | Branson Elopement Photographer
I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to share Kelli and Carl’s Dooley Lodge Wedding. I shot Kelli and Carl’s elopement at Dooley Lodge’s last summer. If you are looking for a Branson Elopement Photographer and stumbled on this post, use the contact form or email me at email@example.com. I’d love to chat with you about your elopement!
This was one of my favorite weddings to date, for several reasons! If you’ve been following me for any amount of time, you know that elopements are my absolute favorite things to shoot! Kelli and Carl were such a nice couple. The owners at Dooley Lodge are fantastic, and it’s a beautiful location!
On top of all that, my dad got to be part of the wedding! My dad is a licensed officiant, but I had never worked with him before. Well, I remember pushing play on cassette tapes during church weddings when I was a kid, but I don’t think that counts. When Kelli told me that needed an officiant last minute, I was able to quickly find a replacement!
I love elopements!
I’ve said it already, but elopements are my favorite! Fun fact – it’s also how I got married. Carl and Kelli’s elopement was beautiful and I loved shooting at the venue for the first time. In fact, this was before they built their new chapel and I believe it was one of the first weddings at the Lodge. They now have an even more amazing venue at Dooley’s Chapel on the Lake and I can’t wait to go back in August for another wedding. If you’re planning a wedding in Branson and still need a venue, I would highly suggest checking them out!
Here are some of my favorite shots from Kelli and Carl’s Dooley Lodge Wedding.
This is one way to get a bride in heels up a steep hill!
Here is a little behind the scenes from the shot above!
