Big Cedar Elopement | Jacqlyn and Jonathon
I’m very excited to share Jackie and Jon’s special day here on the blog. Elopements and small, intimate weddings have become one of my favorite things to photographer. If you’re looking for photographer for your Big Cedar elopement, you’ve come to the right place! I love that so many couples are opting to do a first look. Some couples still opt for the traditional first look walking down the aisle, and that is just fine too! The reason that I recommend doing a “First Look” is because it is a special moment for the couple to be alone. Well, alone plus me (at a distance.) A First Look also means less of a chance that a wedding guest will throw up an iPad to take a picture and block my shot (yes, this happens!) Either way, the first time the bride and groom see each other is a very special moment, as you can tell by the first two photos.
Jon and Jackie had their ceremony by the waterfall at Falls’s Lodge. They were surrounded by family members who joined them for some photos after the ceremony. I love shooting at Big Cedar Lodge because there are so many great places to shoot portraits. We also made our way to Top of the Rock for some additional bride and groom portraits. Congratulations again Jon and Jackie! It was a pleasure working with the two of you.
