Claborn Family | Extended Family Photos Branson MO

I know that I have said this before, but I am finally starting to blog some of last years sessions! I love extended family photo sessions, especially when we are celebrating a birthday or anniversary! Last year I was part of *7* 50th-anniversary celebrations, and this was one of them.

This was one of my favorite extended family sessions from last year. Although I can work with any lighting situation, I love working in the evening with the beautiful “golden hour” light. 🌅 I also love this session because I think the family did a great job at coordinating everyone’s outfits. I always tell people that you don’t have to match perfectly, just coordinate a little bit!

Many of my clients ask me whether I work on location or in a studio. I do not work out of a studio because I really only shoot extended family sessions, weddings, and proposals. None of these require a studio so I work fully on-location! I have several recommendations for families of all sizes, or I can come to you! Many families stay at resorts or in lodges meant for large groups, and this family did just that. I met with them at the Great Elk Lodge which is a beautiful lodge located in Kimberling City.
