Fort Smith Wedding Photographers
Hi there, I’m Amy. If you’re looking for Fort Smith Wedding Photographers, you’ve come to the right place.
Today I want to share a wedding that I shot last year. I have no idea why I never shared this beautiful wedding! I meant to. However, it ended up hanging out in my drafts until I forgot.
As you may know, I recently moved from Branson to the Fort Smith, Arkansas area. I am so excited to be offering wedding photography in Fort Smith and the River Valley area. Although this wedding was photographed in Branson, contact me if you need a Fort Smith wedding photographer!
If you’re planning a Dogwood Canyon wedding, don’t worry! I’m still driving to Branson for weddings, and Virginia handles small weddings, elopements, and portraits.

Abby and Joe had the most beautiful wedding with a small group of family and friends. It wasn’t the wedding they planned, but that is the story for most couples for the past year and a half. It was perfect anyway!
Having a smaller wedding and small wedding party also ensures lots of couples’ pictures. Abby, Joe, and I went around Dogwood Canyon to capture couple portraits on their wedding day. It was overcast and in perfect conditions for photos!
Pro tip: Some people do not know this, but cloudy is the perfect weather for photography! Of course, professional photographers can work in any situation, but we love clouds! ☁️☁️
One of my favorite parts of the wedding day is a gift exchange between the couple before the ceremony. Abby and Joe even wrote each other letters, which is another favorite moment of the wedding day. Most people don’t see these small moments, but I love capturing them for the couple to look back on for years to come.
Here are some of my favorite images from Joe and Abby’s special day. It was hard to choose because I loved so many of their couples’ portraits. Make sure to save plenty of time for those bride and groom portraits. Those are the ones you’ll hang on your wall!

Abby creating the finishing touches on her letter to Joe.
I LOVE being able to capture the dress at the venue if at all possible. I now carry a bride hanger with me, but you can also buy a custom hanger on Amazon.
Aren’t these the most beautiful flowers?
I love this custom box to hold the wedding rings.
Detail shots are some of my favorites from the wedding day. I don’t know why, but I love to capture them!
Last-minute touch-ups before the ceremony.
I always ask if there are restrictions to where I can go during the ceremony. If not, I love to capture all angles!
I only met Joe a few minutes before the ceremony. However, I asked him (as I ask all grooms) to hold the kiss to ensure I capture it. He said that was no problem. 😂
Having a few moments together after the ceremony is such a fun time for couples. Well, alone time + the photographer!
This is one of my favorite wedding photographs ever!

If you’re planning a wedding in 2022, reach out as soon as possible. “They” are saying that 2022 will be one of the busiest years for weddings that we’ve had in a while; that is understandable, due to the postponements of so many weddings in 2020 and 2021!
Consequently, you’ll want to book your wedding vendor as soon as possible to ensure availability. You can use my contact form to reach out with your date and any questions you may have. If you prefer to call or text, you can reach me at 417-239-5964.
Congratulations to Abby and Joe! Make sure to keep an eye out on the blog for more Arkansas and Oklahoma weddings. Lastly, if you’re looking for wedding photographers in Fort Smith, wedding photographers in Arkansas, or wedding photographers in Branson, make sure to contact us to inquire about availability.
